Double lines are typically used in larger toppling projects. They require more dominoes and are therefore more salient compared to a singe line. Moreover, they provide increased toppling security for the cases where a single line might come to a stop. To keep the toppling of both lines in sync, it is advisable to connect them with three adjacent dominoes in regular intervals.
