A field consists of multiple adjacent domino lines forming a rectangular assemblage. Similar to a digital image on a camera, each domino in a field can function as a (non-square) pixel to deliver the impression of a picture when viewed from a distance. It is easiest to plan these fields on the computer beforehand, for example with the tools provided on the software sub-page of this website.
