World Records
Apart from the normal chain reaction record, there are some more domino records that I would like to present on this page. The record holder of all those records was Weijers Domino Productions that set up these world records during Domino Day 2008. By now, some of these records have been broken again.
1. Most dominos toppled in a spiral
The aim of this world record is to build the longest domino spiral which has to topple completely.
Personal record: 28 m
2. Most dominos stacked on one single piece
The stack record. As much dominos as possible have to be placed on one single vertical domino. It is not allowed to use any adhesion and the whole stack must remain standing for one hour.
Personal record: 485
3. Highest toppling domino climb
Here, the dominos have to be set up as high as possible. These dominos are not allowed to be toppled with a mechanism, but have to be knocked down with the help of a domino staircase.
4. Most mini dominos toppled
The aim of this world record is to topple as much mini dominos as possilbe.
5. Largest toppling dominos
This is the opposite of number 4. Here, the largest dominos have be toppled starting with a normal domino line.
6. Longest domino wall
Here you have to build a very long domino wall. It's not important how many dominos have been used for the wall, just the length is interesting. The wall must be 1 m tall and has to topple completely.
Personal record: 3,64 m
7. Tallest domino structure
The aim of this record is to build the largest 3D-stack. This is very challenging because you have to be very careful: if one stone topples too early, the whole construction is gone.
Personal record: 946 stones (3D-pyramid)
8. Fastest toppling domino setting
Here, you are to find out the fastest domino setting and try to set it up as correctly as possible. The stones have to be built on a distance of 30 meters.
9. Largest domino mosaic
Here you have to build the largest domino field which has to topple completely.
Personal record: 1.190 stones (Platypus field)
10. Most dominos toppled by a group
This is the "standard" record. As much dominos as possible have to topple in a continuous chain reaction.
Personal record: 4.712 stones
