Most dominoes toppled by a group: 4.491.863
by Weijers Domino Productions on 13/11/2009
This is the classic world record as known from Domino Day on television. It is about toppling as many dominoes as possible
in a chain reaction. The pushover must be affected from one single point and no electricity may be used to topple the dominoes. Remark: Before
1998, exactly this was allowed. That's why they used electrical mechanisms in the domino records of 1986 and 1988. There is no limit to persons
setting up the dominoes.

Most dominoes toppled by an individual: 303.621
by Ma Li Hua on 16/08/2003
Here, you have to follow the same rules like for the domino group record: one chain reaction starting at one point, no electrical mechanisms, etc.
However, the stones may only be set up by one individual. This record is really hard to organize as the whole process of setting up has to be
supervised by a notary or independent witnesses.

Fastest toppling domino setting: 7,13 m/s
by Weijers Domino Productions on 14/11/2008
This world record is about toppling dominoes on a specific track at maximum speed. Therefore, the T-setting is quite popular, but its speed varies from builder to builder.
According to my opinion, this world record cannot be beaten anymore.
Most dominoes toppled in a spiral: 28.800
by Maximilian Poser on 14/04/2009
This world record is about setting up the biggest and longest domino spiral. Of course, this spiral has topple completely. It is not the spiral's length that counts here,
but the number of dominoes toppled. Additional info: In the current world record spiral, the dominoes had to cover a distance of 450 meters.
A TV report can be found here.
On 06/01/2012, Patrick Sinner set up a new world record with 30,000 dominoes. We are waiting for the confirmation of Guinness.
Most dominoes stacked on one single piece: 1.036
by Alexandr Bendikov on 05/07/2011
This is one of the most facinating and most incomprehensible world record. As many dominoes as possible have to be stacked horizontally on one single vertical domino.
You will get a huge stack whose weight just lies on one domino. No sorts of glue are allowed and the whole stack has to remain standing for one hour in order to make the world record count officially.

Longest domino wall: 27,03 m
by Philipp Zimmermann on 05/09/2010
In this world record, you have to build the longest domino wall. The technique is not important at all, the only difficulty is the fact that the wall has to be
at least one meter tall. It's not the number of dominoes that counts here, but only the length of the wall in meters.
The video can be found here.
Longest time continuous domino toppling: 35 min 22 sec
by Weijers Domino Productions on 07/11/2008
60 people have to keep a domino circle toppling as long as possible. This means pure pressure: after the dominoes in front of you toppled,
you have to set them up again immediately, and again, and again. A good teamwork and strong nerves are required here.
A TV report can be found here.
Largest domino mosaic: 500 m2
by Weijers Domino Productions on 14/11/2008
The field record: in this world record, the biggest area has to be filled with dominoes that then have to toppled in one single chain reaction starting at one point.
It's not the number of dominoes that counts here, but only the area. Additional info: In the current world record, 1.011.732 stones toppled.
Highest toppling domino climb: 11,52 m
by Weijers Domino Productions on 14/11/2008
It goes high up in this world record. A domino line has to climb as high as possible. Therefore, no mechanisms (such as lifting blocks) may be used;
all dominoes have to climb using a staircase. A lot of wood, space and ladders are required here.
Tallest domino structure: 5,08 m
by Philipp Zimmermann on 05/09/2010
In this world record, a domino tower has to be constructed as high as possible. The technique doesn't matter at all, but you can think for yourself
that a tiny 2x2 stones tower won't do it (instability). The tower then has - somehow - to be toppled by a normal domino line.
The video can be found here.
Largest domino structure: 25.000
by Weijers Domino Productions on 14/11/2008
As many dominoes as possible should be used in a three-dimensional domino structure. Very difficult to build as a tiny mistake may topple the whole structure too early.
Of course, this 3D-contruction then has to be toppled by a normal domino line.
Most dominoes toppled in one minute: 75
by Gemma Hansen on 07/08/2010
In this world record, you only have one minute to set up and topple as many dominoes as possible with only one hand. The clue: the area
for the dominoes is limited to 29,7 x 42 cm. A fast hand and a good technique is required for this discipline. I've also found a 30-seconds and a 24-hours version
of this record in the Guinness database, but I suppose that the building area is bigger in the 24-hours-version.
